“Prayer is the language of a man burdened with a sense of need.”
~E.M. Bounds

It is incredible to think that God has given us a mission to engage every student at Wellington High School with the life-changing message of Jesus. This is no small task that can be accomplished by careful planning and determination; instead it will take a holy dependency on the God who has issued this charge. Like Moses standing before the Red Sea wondering how in the world he can deliver the nation of Israel, the task can only be accomplished by divine intervention.

I truly covet your prayers. The more I become entrenched in the mission the more I realize how vital a dependency on our Lord is. Currently I am trying to make inroads into Wellington High, build relationships with students, and build a team of people who will give their time to Campus Life. These are my petitions before the Lord and I ask that you would also join me and take them to God. A simple way that you can become a prayer partner is by filling out the enclosed card with your email and sending it back in the enclosed envelope. I will send out weekly emails with specific needs and ways that you can intercede on behalf of the students we have been called to love.

I thank the Lord that he has not created us to live our lives in isolation, but has created us to live out our faith in the context of friendships. God has given me incredible friends who support this ministry both financially and prayerfully. As we lean on the strong arms of God to accomplish the mission he has set before us, may we also lean on each other bearing one another’s burdens in love.

Soli Deo Gloria,
Mike Brunjes
