Several weeks ago my supervisor asked me to write three reasons why I am on staff with Youth for Christ. He wanted me to truly think about the things God had called me to and what I wanted to see accomplished in the lives of the students I minister to. After really thinking and praying, this is what that list looked liked:
1. To see students lives transformed by the life-changing message of the Gospel
2. To see students develop a Biblical worldview, have personal Bible study, and be involved in a local church
3. To see students grasp a vision for Gospel ministry so that they affect change around them
These are the planks that make up the platform of our mission statement: To give students a faith-based framework from which to live all of life. Through your partnership and prayer God is using us to accomplish this great work! How amazing is it that the God of the universe is using us as agents of change in the lives of students.
I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to partner with you and so many others who share a passion and a burden for this ministry.
